Leland Shields is a psychotherapist in private practice. He has many years experience working with dreams, myths, and folktales. He is also a long-time Zen practitioner with interest in and exposure to the abuse possible in spiritual groups, and the trauma that can result from the betrayal. He is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Argosy University.
